May 27, 2016

I thought about it for a long time. What direction did I want to take this photography journey. After taking a step back from any major sessions in 2015 to enjoy becoming a Mother of two I had time to learn, explore and think. Boy am I glad I took that step! May 27th was approaching, the first wedding of my new chapter was almost here. I was excited, nervous & questioned myself at times then grabbed my gear along with my good friend who is also an amazing photographer and we got to hang out in the most beautiful venue North of town.  The Bride had a peaceful presence as she was getting ready with her Ladies of Honor around her. The skies had just finished raining, the sun peaked out from behind the clouds as the deer outside the lodge eat on some leaves as she slipped into her Gown. The timing was a blessing as her Dad watched from above. This wedding, the weather, the couple and their guest sealed the deal on my decision of officially adding Wedding Photography to my business. I am beyond honored!

Congratulations Brian & Stacey!

“Stephanie was the photographer for my wedding on May 27th in Ketchikan, Alaska at the Salmon Falls Resort. I have never considered myself to be very beautiful (lots of old facial scars from long time ago motorcycle accident) and getting married one day before my 49th birthday, being a blushing bride seemed…we’ll, you know!

Her photos of my fiance, now husband and I showed us to be in love and happy AND young. Our wedding looked as perfect as it felt.
And I….looked beautiful. Thanks Stephanie.”  ~ Stacey
